Storm Restoration

What is Storm Restoration

Storm restoration is the process of repairing or rebuilding a roof that has been damaged by severe weather. Storms can cause damage to roofs in several ways, including high winds, hail, and falling trees or limbs. In some cases, storm damage may be covered by insurance. However, not all storm damage is covered by insurance, and it is important to know what to expect before starting the storm restoration process.

Hail Damage

Hail damage can easily be overlooked by an untrained eye, but the effects of hail can be extensive and costly. When a storm with high winds is accompanied by large hailstones, they can pummel your roof, breaking tiles and causing leaks. Our storm restoration experts have the experience and tools necessary to assess any hail damage quickly and accurately to help you determine whether or not it requires repairs or replacement.

Wind Damage

Strong winds can cause serious damage to your roof. Depending on the strength of the storm, wind may blow shingles off your roof and allow rainwater to seep in. Wind also weakens the structure of your roof, making it more susceptible to further damage during future storms. Some noticeable issues may consist of:

Lifted or curled shingles
Missing shingles
Water leaks

*Just to name a few*

I can't say enough how much we appreciate the team from First Choice. We had storm damage to our roof and wanted to use a local contractor. They came out right away, even though it was a smaller job, and did an inspection as well. Even though it was a small job, they treated us like we were a priority. We are hoping to put an addition on the house this year and will call them again when it is time for the roofing and gutter work.

These guys found me at the perfect time. I happened to be outside my house when they approached me. They were offering a free roof inspection to see if I had hail damage from a previous storm. I didn’t remember a hail storm and was slightly skeptical but I figured it couldn’t hurt. Turns out they found damage and visible damage that I could see. I had just never noticed the holes in my screens and dents in my fascia. The storm date happened to be when we were on vacation so it made sense I didn’t remember. I reported the claim to my insurance and they sent an insurance adjuster out. Javi and Mario came out with the adjuster in case there were any questions. I was approved. The crew that came out to install the roof couldn’t have been any better. They were thorough and efficient. They cleaned up and put things back where they found it. They were done in a day. Throughout the whole process Javi was in constant communication. He went above and beyond to makes sure I was satisfied. Highly recommend!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! From the time I called the business for an estimate for roof replacement through installation and afterwards, I received nothing but superb service. Justin is so professional, he listens to the customer needs and then executes phenomenally. I actually thought this was too good to be true as I dealt with another roof company for roof repairs in previous years and did not receive service like this as I did with First Choice Exteriors, LLC. I recommend this company to anyone as they were a blessing for me.
